Andrew Ellis

About Me

I am an Associate Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics. My research focuses on microeconomic theory and decision theory, particularly models of bounded rationality and choice under uncertainty. My work has appeared in American Economic Review, Review of Economic Studies, Theoretical Economics, Journal of Economic Theory, and Games and Economic Behavior. I am an associate editor at Games and Economic Behavior and served as an associate editor at Theoretical Economics. Currently, I direct LSE's Econometrics and Mathematical Economics master's program. I received my PhD in Economics from Boston University in 2013 and hold a BA in Mathematics and Economics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
